Selling livestock is not an easy feat. BlueKiwi is committed to ensuring that our clients are given every opportunity to find the best potential buyers and make fair deals. We work with your from start to finish to find buyers and make sure that no contracts fall through in the final hours.
Prior to sale
When we work as your selling agent, we want to ensure we are attracting the best buyers possible.
- We collect and process all of the herd information, history, and records.
- This information is consolidated into an easy to understand form that can be presented to potential buyers.
- We actively network and search for potential purchasers.
- We prepare a comprehensive sale and purchase agreement to ensure your terms are met.
Day of selection
To make sure the selection process goes as smoothly as possible, we are equipped with everything you will need for a successful selection.
- Ensure all of the records are up-to-date and the pertinent documents are available for buyers.
- Confirm that only the cows the meet the contract conditions are being presented
- Make thorough records of all of the cows that are selected.
After the selection day
After the selections are made, we work with you to ensure the contract is fully met and fulfilled
- Monitor cow condition regularly up until they are delivered. This is verify the terms of the contract are being met.
- Manage the records for all herd tests, scanning results, and calving information. We ensure these are sent to the purchaser.
- We make sure that any pregnancy and Lepto certificates are provided to the purchaser.
- Facilitate communications with the purchaser's agent. Should issues arise that could affect the herd prior to delivery, this is communicated quickly and efficiently.
- We take a detailed record of the livestock leaving your property on departure day.
